EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique and Toddler Songs, with Lee Uehara

EFT and Toddler Songs

(Yes, they go together)

Lee Uehara’s BIO:

Lee Uehara (way-hA-rah) is a parent who has dealt with her own health issues and is successfully combatting them through alternative modalities and nutrition. She is the author of the book, “41+ Other Tips to Thrive in Early Motherhood,” and the creator of a behavior management tool for parents in the form of a music CD: Tunes for Transitions: Songs to Soothe Toddlers. Lee’s book and CD can be found at Amazon or on her mom-site, PractiMama.com.

But the main reason Lee is here today is as an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) practitioner who works with adults, parents and children to help release and unblock stressors, anger, grief, physical issues, anxiety, and sexual trauma as it relates to weight issues.

A few things we talked about:

Young children need guidance, and sometimes they don’t want to do what we need them to do. so Lee created special songs for parents to learn to motivate them to follow directions. Quick, simple, and catchy, these songs can help you and your child both stay calm and focused on the task at hand – and have some fun in the process. Check them out on iTunes or Amazon.

During a previous conversation about her songs, Lee told me about EFT, Emotional Freedom Therapies, and we did an impromptu session. It was life-changing for me! After having guilt most of my life about everything (mostly things no one else would think about feeling guilty for) I was able to ditch the guilt and I knew you had to hear about EFT.

EFT is relatively new, (1980s) but amazing technique that can help conquer most of our problems including:

  • Stress
  • Anger
  • Guilt
  • Weight issues
  • Physical ailments
  • People who annoy you (and who doesn’t have one of those?)
